web parts

If you're looking for a good book on Asp.Net webparts then look no further. ASP.Net 2.0 Web Parts in Action by Darren Neimke is an excellent read.

i-blog

For the last couple of years, I have worked as a Coldfusion developer for a company based in Belfast. When I started with them, my platform of choice was Asp.Net 1.1 but the company - and more importantly, many of it's clients - had a significant investment in Coldfusion based applications. So I learnt Coldfusion and much to my suprise I enjoyed it but secretly, I'd always missed Asp.Net. I missed the Visual Studio experience (even when it was super-buggy and a bit horrible), I missed the great controls and boy-oh-boy did I miss the debugger. Thankfully, times have changed and Asp.Net 2.0 is now a core part of what I do. So welcome to my blog. I'll be posting a) stuff that should work, b) stuff that does work and c) any other workaround that will get us from a to b. Nice to meet you.
